Why Your Lines Look Fuzzy (and How to Fix It)
Share
If your sketches are starting to look like a scribbly mess of fuzzy lines—you’re not alone.
A lot of people sketch that way because they’re unsure of what line to put down next. But here’s the tip: sketch every line with confidence.
Instead of sketching like a lost tourist, have a game plan—whether that’s from a reference or just an idea in your head—then go for it. Draw each line with purpose. Sure, it might not be perfect on the first go. That’s what erasers are for. It’s just a sketch, not a final piece.
The difference? Sketching with intention leads to cleaner, stronger drawings, and honestly, it’s way more fun.
I made a little video on it right there ⬇️ - keep drawing for fun! 😎✏️
